MSN Intellisync
Intellisync Software developed an application to sync information across different platforms. Before it could be rolled-out to MSN users, the application needed a major redesign to address hidden functionality and a multitude of pop-up windows which failed to guide the user through logical steps to sync their devices and information.
The redesigned syncing software was easy to use and consistent with MSN branding while preserving the back end code. The new design contained a setup wizard for both first-time and novice users, as well as aninterface for advanced users. First-time and novice users are stepped through a logical and intuitive set-up process aligned with their mental model. The advanced user interface provided capability to directly add or change syncing options.
